CODE OF CONDUCT
We work with the best interests of our clients in mind, putting our clients’ interests ahead of our own. We only engage with clients when we believe that the value of our services will meet or exceed our professional fees.
We are committed to impartiality and provide objective, independent advice.
We are committed to client confidentiality. This means that all information provided to us by our clients during an engagement is treated as strictly confidential, non-public information unless the client specifically informs us otherwise in writing. This also means that we do not disclose the identity of our clients at any point during or after an engagement, unless we have express written permission to do so.
We are transparent and forthcoming regarding conflicts of interest. To mitigate or eliminate any appearance of conflicts of interest, we require all AOA staff to declare any potential or real conflicts of interest before we accept new clients. Should any specific and direct conflict arise during the course of an engagement, we alert the client and may withdraw and/or modify the scope of the work as appropriate.
